Indian Railways train between stations, Seat availability, Fare enquiry

Now a passenger can check the trains / fares/ accommodation online on the Indian Railways website. For checking up of the trains/ fare/ accommodation, one has to just log on the following Indian Railways website. After logging on the website on the top of the website would be given “PNR Status”, “Train Between Stations”, “Seat Availability” and “Fare Enquiry”.

Here you could selects the Train Between Stations tab, a window as below would open. In the window you have to select your source station from where you wants to start your journey in the source station drop down list.  Again in the next step you have to select your Destination Station where you would like to travel. This facility currently is available for Important Stations only.

Next you would have to select the the class is the which you want to travel from the following options:

ALL CLASS

FIRST AC

SECOND AC

THIRD AC

3 AC ECONOMY

AC CHAIR CAR 

FIRST CLASS

SLEEPER CLASS

SECOND SITTING

Leave the ALL CLASS selected, if you would like to check availability for wider options. Similarly, the Departure Time Between, Arrival Time Between and Train Type may be left as it appears on the window for wider search. Next select the one way or return trip option as per your choice of journey.

The similar above steps to be followed for Seat Availability and Fare Enquiry.
